Question 1

How do I purchase event tickets on Ticketa?

Accepted Answer

Browse events on Ticketa, choose your desired ticket tier (Early Bird, Regular, VIP, VVIP), enter attendee details, and pay instantly using Safaricom M-Pesa STK Push or Credit/Debit card. Your verified digital QR pass is generated immediately and sent via email and SMS.

Question 2

How does Ticketa prevent fake and counterfeit tickets?

Accepted Answer

Ticketa issues tamper-proof, cryptographically signed dynamic QR codes. Each ticket contains a unique hash verified in real-time by the Ticketa Gate Scanner app, with sub-second duplicate entry prevention that flags reused tickets immediately.

Question 3

Can gate staff scan tickets offline if the venue network drops?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Ticketa Gate Scanner app includes client-side cryptographic signature verification and local cached manifests, allowing gate staff to continuously authenticate attendees offline and automatically sync validation logs once reconnected.

Question 4

How do event organizers receive payouts from ticket sales?

Accepted Answer

Organizers have real-time visibility into their gross ticket sales, platform fees, and net balance via the Organizer Hub. Payouts can be requested directly to Safaricom M-Pesa or Kenyan bank accounts with automated financial ledger reconciliation.

Question 5

Are free RSVP tickets protected from scalping bots?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ticketa employs strict IP and session rate-limiting, honeypot bot barriers, and email verification to ensure fair distribution of free RSVP community tickets.
